Programme Learning Outcomes
Key Learning Outcomes;
Graduates of the programs will be able to;

implement the theoretical and practical informations and skills of mathematics and science in IE problem solving.

identify, define, model and solve the complex Industrial Engineering problems; prepare design and production reports; give and receive clear and reasonable directives.
-
consider the system as a whole, even when solving component or subsystem level problems.
-
design complex processes, products and systems under realistic constraints by allocating resources efficiently; use modern design procedures in this respect.

select, implement and develop modern hardware and software tools in order to solve and analyze IE problems and consequently interpret the results obtained.

use at least one programming language and contemporary information technologies efficiently.

work both individually and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.

access up to date information in the field of IE by the way of efficiently usage of databases and other sources.

recognize his/her learning needs and personal abilities to be able engage in life-long learning, refresh himself/herself by monitoring recent developments in science and technology.

design experiments, conduct experiments, collect data, analyse the results and present findings efficiently in verbal and written context both in Turkish and at least one foreign language.

demonstrate knowledge in professional practices such as project, quality, risk and change management, and sustainable development; and demonstrate awareness in entrepreneurship and innovation.

develop an understanding of social, scientific, cultural and ethical responsibility within the context of Industrial Engineering and their effects on health, environment and safety/security.
