About The Program

Bioengineering is considered a “profession of the future” as it is the latest and largest link in the engineering chain of disciplines. Bioengineers function in any field “bio”, i.e., “life” is involved and are indispensable parts of crucial domains such as medicine, genetics, food, agriculture, environment, and energy. Bioengineers played the most important role in biological revolution we are facing, which spans from decoding the code of life to generating synthetic life. At BİLGİ, we will build upon the established accretion in our university and train “socially adept” engineers, one of the most felt needs in the engineering world.
