This course explains theoretically and practically the basic concepts that a paramedic should learn for his profession, the definition of the profession, the applications to be done while evaluating the patient, the accurate and complete evaluation and recording of vital signs, the importance of crime scene safety for paramedics. After the lecturer explains the sample cases in each lesson, he shows the applications and makes them apply. All students participate in the lesson by using question-answer and discussion techniques.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to;
  1. Learn body mechanics.
  2. Obtain accurate anamnesis from the patient and their immediate family.
  3. Do a physical examination.
  4. ensure the safety of the crime scene.
  5. take and record the vital signs of the patient.

Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the programs will be able to;
1. use the emergency drugs and fluids determined by the Ministry until they reach the hospital with intravenous and intraosseous intervention.
2. apply basic and advanced airway systems
3. make trauma stabilization.
4. transfer the patient using appropriate transportation techniques.
5. performs evaluation of ECG and rhythm, monitorization, defibrillation by evaluating cardiovascular system
6. assist with emergency labor.
7. Prepare the ambulance for technical, medical equipment and materials.
