This course focuses on historical, theoretical and practical information regarding urban environment and urban graphics. The aim of this course is to use knowledge and skills gained during the courses to develop concepts around certain topics and to apply these concepts via visual communication design projects. In this course students will observe, interpret and represent urban environments and they will design tools such as maps, signage systems, etc.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to;
gain historical theoretical and practical knowledge regarding urban environment.

develop design tools regarding urban environment.
gain observing, interpreting and representing skills as a designer regarding urban environment.

Assignments and Final Project must be delivered via Bilgi Learn. Late deliveries will not be graded.
