Although the Sustainable Development Goals are relevant to all areas of daily life, they seem to have been on the agenda of a narrow audience among lawyers. Being able to determine what is and what should be in every field, from bank loans to how elections are conducted, from access to drinking water to justice and education, and to evaluate the role that law plays and can play in this context, is a competence that must be acquired for future lawyers.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to;
  1. will be able to list the Sustainable Development Goals;
  2. Summarize the history of the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals;
  3. Explain the role of law and lawyers in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals;
  4. Explain how at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals is regulated in international law;
