This course covers main concepts and applications of environmental science and engineering. With this course it is aimed that the students from various engineering programs will gain knowledge on the basic concepts and applications in environmental science and engineering, acquainting them with environmental pollution which is one of the most important problems the modern world has to face with, gain knowledge on environmental impacts of engineering applications and tools for environmental impact ans sustainability analysis and gain the ability of doing a project by working in multidisciplinary teams.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to;
  1. gain skill on working efficiently in interdisciplinary teams.
  2. get extensive and timely information related to the environmental risks and problems.
  3. follow the state of the art applications and innovations in the field of environmental engineering
  4. get extensive information related to environmental impact and sustainability analysis applications.
  5. have an insight on the policies and practices to be followed in order to prevent or minimize environmental pollution.
  6. develop their skills on doing research and making presentation.
