This course is designed to familiarize students with basic aspects of the advertising and branding. It focuses on the integrated marketing communication, consumer behavior, media planning, advertising campaign management, advertising agency structure... etc. Students will have opportunity to integrate their theoretical knowledge with professional advertising practices via case studies.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to;
  1. To be able to apprehend various aspect of advertising functions as a communication and integrated marketing communication force,
  2. To become familiar with the concepts of consumer behavior, advertising campaign, branding, agency structure... etc.
  3. To have the opportunity to get an overall understanding of and a critical approach to advertising campaigns and case studies.
  4. To get knowledge about advertising agencies and their functioning.
  5. To have a general understanding about being an adman in the advertising world.
