This course aims to provide students with up-to-date evidence-based knowledge and skills in the rehabilitation and care of physiological changes and diseases encountered in the geriatric population. The aging process and the physiological and psychosocial changes seen in this process are critically interpreted. Physical, cognitive and mental health problems that occur in the geriatric population and evidence-based physical therapy practice are discussed. | |
