The aim of this course is to give information to students about systemic and infectious diseases and teach them how to behave in possible stiuations.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to;
  1. students will be able to know how to take an anamnesis
  2. students will be able to know physical examination methods.
  3. students will be able to know systemic ailments, symptoms and treatments.
  4. students will be able to know infectious diseases and prevention.
  5. students will be able to know the cross infection and the ways of protection.

Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the programs will be able to;
1. Communicate with dentists by using the necessary dental terminology.
2. Know the causes of occupational musculoskeletal disorders in the working environment and apply the correct ergonomic behaviors.
3. Make the equipment, material and dental unit suitable for accepting a new patient according to the principles of sterilization and disinfection.
4. Use the correct means of communication with patients.
5. Help the dentist during various dental treatments.
6. Know the applications of preventive dentistry.
7. Know and apply ways of protecting themselves, the patient and the dentist from radiation.
