Students learn the basic English structures through which they can follow professional English lessons in the following years at school and in their professional lives; English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, verbal expression and writing skills are the basis of the English course. Also students are introduced to some professional English vocabulary items and terminology in the field of health services.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to;
  1. Use countable and uncountable nouns with some/any, express likes and dislikes, use time expressions with ‘how often’.
  2. Talk about neighborhood, ask for directions, use prepositions of locations, use ‘there is, there are’.
  3. Use ‘Present Continuous statements’, talk about activities, explain one can or can’t talk, use ‘Present Continuous questions’.
  4. Talk about weekend activities, talk about ‘past experiences’, use and pronounce ‘past regular and irregular verbs’, ask ‘yes/no questions’, express surprise.
  5. Use adjectives, use ‘past of be’, talk about ‘good and bad news’, react to news.
  6. talk about vacation activities, ask ‘Past Simple Wh- questions.
  7. Talk about months and dates, use ‘be going to’ and ask ‘yes/no questions’.
  8. decline/accept an invitation, use vocabulary on ‘party checklist’, ask Wh- wuestions with ‘be going to’, use object pronouns.

Online materials and studies as well as quizzes are put online weekly on Bilgi Learn system and students are responsible for completing all those materials. Also, virtual classes are held weekly and all students are responsible for attending these lessons, or if not possible, keep track of the recorded lessons from the Bilgi Learn system.

2. Marina ve yat işletmeciliği sektöründe nitelikli iş gücü ihtiyacını karşılayacak çalışanlar olarak eğitilmiş olacaklardır.
