Monitor the developments in the field and communicate with peers by using a foreign language at least at a level of European Language Portfolio B1 General Level
Be able to read and critically engage scholarly literature in both English and Turkish. (“European Language Portfolio Global Scale”, Level C1).
Be able to use Ottoman Turkish as a research language and also be able to use a second language of modern scholarship at an intermediate level.
